No sew fleece blankets? why do yu have to put out squares or each corners.? cant u just leave it how it is?
If you do not cut the corners out, one side will have fringe longer than the side it corners with. It will also not make a nice looking corner either as it will not have a 90 degree angle. It's hard to explain but if you do it with a piece of paper or scrap fabric, you will see what happens if the corner is not removed. Here is a picture to show how the fabric looks with the squares removed. Now visualize tying one side and coming to the place where the square has been removed. You begin to tie that side and you will see it makes a nice corner when completed. http://www.projectlinus.org/patterns/pdf/NoSewFB.pdf Hope this helps.

People have been draping themselves and the furniture items at home, be it a bed or a sofa set since ages. The basic idea behind keeping the furniture all covered up was to save it from dust, when not in use. To make sure that the fabric retains its freshness and the polished wood its shine, these simple preventive measures were required. Over the years this whole concept has taken a new turn. Now you have throws for sofas and throws for beds. Big range of fabrics is used for making the throws. Some of the common and most liked fabrics are chenille, cotton, organic woven cotton, silk, wool, cashmere, faux fur, fleece etc. Be it a living room or a bedroom, these throws come very handy.
