Why do military men always end up marrying their high school sweethearts?
Seriously, why do males in the military always end up marrying their freakin high school sweethears and dragging them to Ft (insert post name here) or (in my case) Camp Lejeune or Pendleton? What I just mentioned was wwwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too prevalent when I was an active duty Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune? Now, listen to this. So I got out back in 2005 and got a civilian job in Colorado Springs, Colorado which just so happens to have a medium sized Army post on the south end of town. I got out of the Marine Corps thinking that I would finally be able to find a single woman and settle down since I was able to get the heck out of Jacksonville, N.C., but nnnnnnnnnooooooooo all of these women are married to yep, you guessed it, male soldiers that used to be these gals' high school/hometown sweethearts. Seriously, wtf? Being stationed in eastern N.C./ Jacksonville hindered me from being a normal straight guy and being able to date women because the civilian women hated Marines and now I am in an Army town and it is the same crap all over again with regards to all of the women being married to their hometown sweethearts who are now male solders? WTF?????

Some women like to look at a man in uniform. The problem is not girls marrying their high school sweethearts, it's you trying to hook up with girls who don't like you. Not crying about girls who don't like you would be a good start.
